Access

Kea is the closest island the Cyclades to Athens and in a very short distance at a short distance from  Eleftherios Venizelos international airport (Athens International Airport).

Kea, is only one hour by boat from Lavrio port and there is regular ferry boat route to and from the island.

 In addition, during the summer months Kea is connected with ferry routes with other Cycladic islands like Syros, Tinos, Kythnos, and Mykonos.

Getting to KEA VILLA THEA

From El. Venizelos airport to Lavrio port

The distance between the airport and the port of Lavrio is a 30 minute drive (app. 30km).You can reach Lavrio from the airport either by taxi, coach or by renting a car from the rental agencies located at the airport. For more information visit the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport Page: www.aia.gr

When you reach Lavrio port, you catch the ferry that takes you straight to Kea.

From Lavrio port to Kea Villa Thea

Kea is only 60 minutes by ferry, so once you arrive at the port of Kea, Korissia, if you don’t have transportation, you can get a TAXI from the Taxi.  Alternatively, you can also rent a car from the car rental company www.rentacarkea.gr , which is located a few meters away as you exit the ferry.

Driving directions

Leaving Korissia, you will follow the road towards Otzias - a short 5 minute drive from the port. Once you arrive at Vourkari Village  you will continue on the main road, and turn right toward Otzias.  You will continue for aprox 1 km and look for a small sign on the right- AGIAS VARVARAS- there you turn right and go up the hill until you see Kea Villa Thea, almost at the end.
